Utilizes knowledge, skill, and judgment in providing direct and indirect patient care. Participates in patient/family/staff education. Provides safe practices in all aspects of patient care activities. Maintains current knowledge and standards of nursing practice. Performs on-call duty to meet scheduled/unscheduled needs of the department.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or surgical tech program
- Current Scrub Tech Certification or Current Texas or Compact State Nursing Licensure
- Scrub Tech Experience and/or Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Certified Surgical Tech Program preferred.
- Salary range: $19-27/hour

CALL IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
WEEKEND CALL IS ALSO REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
TYPICALLY, ONE DAY PER WEEK AND ONE TO TWO WEEKENDS EVERY FOUR WEEKS. HOLIDAY CALL IS SHARED BETWEEN STAFF AND IS DRAWN FOR EACH YEAR.
