Position Summary: The SVP of Finance ("SVP") is a critical member of TBCs executive leadership team, and of Triumphs broader finance team, who is responsible for leading TBCs short and long-term financial strategy to ensure it is fully optimized, aligned with, and properly supports the companys business strategy. This person is responsible for developing data-driven financial insights and strategic financial considerations that are accretive to the development and attainment of TBCs growth and profitability goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner to the senior executive team by developing data-driven insights and predictive analytics; plays an active role in the executive strategic planning process.
  • Provide real-time and projected P&L transparency for the senior leadership team.
  • Perpetually track, evaluate and accurately report real-time KPI Dashboards with forward-looking probabilities, ranges, and trends.
  • Translate the business strategy into actionable plans and identify resources needed to meet financial objectives.
  • Direct and analyze studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
  • Ensure complete knowledge of monthly and quarterly financial results and KPIs.
  • Identify what drives success and develop measures to feed those drivers.
  • Analyze operational issues impacting TBC and determine their financial impact.
  • Evaluate and recommend business partnering opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations of financial results and KPIs to senior finance management and business leaders.
  • Advance TBCs sales tracking within Salesforce and implications to P&L:
a. Carriers by client segment and by sales channelb. Probability and timing of winning within each segment c. Impact of win on cost model, cost allocation, and revenued. Impact of win on operations: contact center capacity, operational support, legal contracting, etc.
  • Direct the production and monitoring of annual and ongoing budgets and forecasts, in partnership with Triumphs broader finance team.
  • Direct the preparation and issuance of financial and operating reports.
  • Provide commentary and guidance to the management team with respect to strategic initiatives.
  • Review and prepare business case analysis for strategic initiatives.
  • Manage special projects as needed/perform other duties as assigned.
  • Serve as a member of several committees such as the Risk Committee, Disclosure Committee, and IT Steering Committee and attend manager and officer meetings, in order to represent the strategic financial, treasury, and accounting interests at TBC.
  • Work to maintain data integrity and accuracy and that proper controls and procedures are being followed.
  • Respond to audit requests as needed or required.
  • Direct the production and monitoring of annual and ongoing budgets and forecasts, in partnership with Triumphs broader finance team.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelors or Masters degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
  • Senior-level strategic finance experience in a complex and fast-moving business.
  • 7+ years of previous experience strongly preferred.
  • Additional certifications are a plus.
  • Transportation industry experience and knowledge are a plus.

Skills & Abilities Required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel (intermediate competency level at min.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and follow through.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and must possess independent reasoning skills.
  • High level of integrity and ethics in handling sensitive information.
  • Handle all data with utmost security, caution, and discretion.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
