    Job Title: Systems Administrator
    Employment: Full Time; 12 month Classified Exempt
    Reports to: Director of Technology
    Supervises: No Supervisory Responsibilities

    Requirements:
    Associates Degree, technical school, or 2-5 years of experience in Microsoft server/client software and/or Apple OS/iOS
    Experience with best practices in safety and security for hardware, software, and end-users
    Skill in reading, interpreting, and understanding technical program manuals
    Availability to flex the work schedules when needed for system upgrades, updates, and/or maintenance after work hours.
    A certificate in either entry-level systems or technical experience is preferred
    Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience as approved by the Superintendent

    Responsibilities:
    To provide technical assistance, maintenance, and troubleshooting for servers, databases, and system security.
    Creates systems and processes to maintain, monitor, and protect the safety and security of the district data.
    Provides user support for purchased software applications; develops accurate and efficient solutions to data processing/reporting needs outside the normal scope of purchased software applications; and reports errors, omissions and software issues to the vendor.
    Create, support, and maintain Microsoft Enterprise applications such as Active Directory, SCCM/Intune, Teams, Office 365, etc.
    Configures, maintains, manages, monitors and troubleshoots PC servers, server virtualization, and client-operated systems.
    Administrate, support, and train client-server/database driven applications, create and maintain SQL databases and reports.
    Applies principles of computer programming and assists in the collection and documentation of program specifications, codes, de-bugs, monitors program execution and initiates modifications as needed.
    Provides emergency assistance as required to maintain district technology services.
    Manages priorities with respect to support calls, trouble tickets and schedule repairs and maintenance to ensure a timely completion of the project.
    Availability to flex the work schedules when needed for system upgrades, updates, and/or maintenance after work hours.
    Maintain a high level of communication with district personnel in respect to scheduling, progress, and completion of projects.
    Acquire and maintain any certifications necessary to perform assigned duties.
    Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
