Job Summary:

The Information Services Division (ISD) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Systems / LAN Administrator. This position is part of the Network Services Team and plays a crucial role in the ongoing support of the design and administration of the AHCCCS Server/IT Infrastructure.

Job Duties:

* Analyze and resolve operations problems on the LAN servers

* Perform general network administration (e.g., adding/deleting users) and network services

* Provide technical assistance to internal customers and team members

* Perform backup and recovery of LAN servers. Installs and maintains operating systems and software on servers and user workstations. Create work plans for assigned projects

* Define, control and test LAN system security. Develop and write network administration and user documentation

* Install, configure, and monitor network and server operating systems

* Maintain technical knowledge by attending training courses and reading technical publications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

* Microsoft Windows Server and PC software; VMWare virtualization technologies

* Experience with supporting an enterprise IT environment for a medium sized enterprise of 500+ users; maintaining large number of Microsoft Windows servers in an enterprise environment

* Experience with client services including MS Active Directory, MS DHCP Server, WINS, MS DNS

* Data backup methodologies and troubleshooting techniques

* Ability to interface with users and all stakeholders to determine their evolving needs; and working independently as well as in a team

* Principles, techniques, and operations of personal computers/computing, including networks and network hardware

Selective Preference(s):

* Minimum 5 years experience in the following Microsoft SQL 2005 Server and beyond

* Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and beyond

* Westbrook Fortis, Kofax application suite, Open Text Rightfax, ZenDesktop, NetScalar

* Microsoft Terminal Services
