This newly created position is critical in helping our department fill positions for one of the largest departments on the ASU campus.

Salary Range

$43,000- $48,000 per year commensurate of experience and education. ASU offers a comprehensive benefits package with the State of Arizona

Essential Duties

As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for:


  • Taking the lead in coordinating a high volume of interviews across multiple divisions.
  • Assisting with planning and scheduling all logistics regarding career fairs.
  • Responding to employment inquiries and guiding prospects through the application process. 
  • Finalizing applicant and posting status updates after searches.
  • Assisting recruiters in establishing searches, scheduling and communicating statuses through regular updates.
  • Reviewing, editing, posting, and confirming position announcements and advertisements.
  • Initiating and overseeing all background checks for the department.
  • Researching and addressing applicant questions or concerns.
  • Coordinate and assist in the planning and facilitating of the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization to include I9 verification.


Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND two years administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Six years of progressively responsible administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

  • Evidence in attention to detail and organizing work
  • Evidence in high level of initiative, dependability, flexibility, and motivation. 
  • Expeience working independently and as part of a team in a service-oriented office environment. 
  • Experience in multi-task during critical periods
  • Evidence of effective communication skills. 


Working Environment

  • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. 
  • Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds. 
  • Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals. 
  • Drives University vehicle and/or cart to campus site.
