Compensation (Pay): $18.64 to $27.03/per hour based on experience.

Job Summary:

The Talent and Engagement Specialist team responsibilities include the sourcing, placement and onboarding of staff and the credentialing, privileging and contracting of provider and other licensed staff.

Suggested Competencies: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, have a strong attention to detail, ability to work independently as well as with a team, have a strong working knowledge of relevant regulations, provide excellent customer service, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proactively sources active and passive candidates from online databases, internal databases, community resources, job boards, social media
  • Regularly follows up with hiring managers to minimize delays in the hiring process
  • Facilitates a positive end-to-end process for candidates
    • Posts open positions
    • Screens resumes
    • Performs phone screens
    • Performs reference checks
    • Organizes fingerprinting process, as applicable
    • Prepares pay determinations
    • Organizes offers of employment
    • Performs onboarding process
      • Sends pre-hire documents
      • Background checks
      • OIG, SAM, Sex Offender, Social Security Verification
    • Maintains talent acquisition spreadsheets
  • Process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications for providers to include volunteer providers.
  • Prepares credentialing/privileging files for Clinical Advisory Committee (CAC) and Board of Director meetings
  • Prepare provider contracts, cover sheets and Employee Status Forms for new and renewing providers.
  • Assists in updating relevant workflows and processes as needed for continuous process improvement and best practices.
  • Promotes and demonstrates the mission, vision, and Core Values of Peak Vista.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments, the management team, medical staff, and leadership.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Education: Associates degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years administrative experience required. Medical staff credentialing or human resources/recruiting experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Intermediate - ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; use and create a variety of templates; manage table data; customize toolbars, import and insert graphs, embed Excel data; work with multiple worksheets; sort and filter data; manipulate databases.
