Summary of Responsibility:

Will serve as liaison between interdisciplinary team and managed care contracts to ensure appropriate length of stay and community follow up as well as actively participating in and managing all aspects of the RAI/MDS process.

Requirements/Education/Experience:

  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program with current license to practice Nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required (RN preferred)
  • Minimum of five (5) years related health care experience required (specialty certification preferred)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience with Utilization Review, Case Management, and MDS 3.0
  • Knowledge of managed care, Medicare, JCAHO, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Experience working within an interdisciplinary team approach to care.
  • Computer skills.
