- Possess (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid and appropriate California Driver's License.Must demonstrate Highly Qualified status using the following education requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent AND(a) Two years of higher education study (48 semester units or 72 quarter units), OR(b) Possess an Associate's or higher degree, OR(c) Successful completion of a Fontana Unified School District-approved Paraprofessional Certificate and/or Paraprofessional Assessment Exam. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:- Experience working with individuals with special needs, such as: learning disabilities, physical disabilities, emotional disabilities and behavioral disorders.- Experience working in a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) or Special Day (SDC) Class.- Experience working with orthopedically impaired equipment - chairs, standers, lifts, switches, etc.Proof of certificates, education, etc. will be required upon recommendation for employment.
