Dependable Staffing is seeking caring, compassionate and experience educational Paraprofessionals for fall 2020 placements, to provide 1:1 & classroom guidance, assistance to our clients in elementary classroom settings working with children and education professionals.
We have long term employment opportunities for experienced paraprofessionals as teacher assistants (TA), classroom aides and instructional assistants (IA) in Phoenix and the surrounding area. These opportunities will start August 6th and are for full time available, qualified educational staff to work Monday- Friday, 35 hours per week.
Paraprofessionals are responsible for assisting the classroom teacher and students in attaining student goals. Students may demonstrate academic, behavioral, and/or social deficits and need assistance with comprehending educational material, behavioral redirection and understanding and comprehending homework and classroom projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a consistent and safe environment for the students
- Assists and accompanies children in all activities throughout the day
- Always maintain positive and supportive communication with student(s), parents and education staff
- Assisting teacher by delivering educational material and assisting with curriculum in individual and/or small group setting
- Support the teacher in implementing the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and behavior plans for each student. Must be able to follow teacher direction.
- Assist in the daily planning of classroom and outdoor activities
- Distributes and collects workbooks, papers and other materials for instruction
- Assists with supervision of students during field trips, breaks, meals, playground activities and emergency drills
- Assist with bus duty as required
- Experience working with children in education or behavioral health setting
- Autism, ED, Special Education experience preferred
- Must have current CPR & 1st Aid
- Must have fingerprint clearance card
- Complete CPI training provided by certified instructors through Dependable Staffing
