As a Dependable teachers aide, you will be responsible for assisting the teacher in providing the individualized behavioral, social and educational support to students with unique learning challenges. Opportunities to interact in virtual classroom settings in small group or 1:1 settings with students are available. Qualified candidates will play an important and rewarding role working with the classroom teacher to ensure that each student is able to achieve their individualized educational goals.Duties Include: Encouraging positive behaviors as directed by classroom teacher. Provide a supportive educational environment for students. Assist students with care as needed. Record progress records for student Individual Education Plans. Properly supervise students at all times as directed. Help students develop and improve social interactions. Assist with various daily classroom activities. Help students improve academically and behaviorally as instructedMandatory Qualifications: Classroom experience preferred. High School degree or equivalent. CPI Training (provided free for qualified applicants). One year of recent experience working with children Valid clean Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. Current CPR and First Aid.
