Our clients are seeking Teacher's Aides in the Tolleson, AZ area starting at $15/hr. plus a $100 sign on bonus.
COMPENSATION AND SIGN ON BONUS
* $15-16 / hour based on contractors experience, availability and skill set.
* $100 sign on bonus after completion of 100 working hours!
SUMMARY OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Assist students as they board and exit school bus.
* Helps prepare, collect and set-up materials for student participation, following teacher direction
* Provides instructional, behavioral, or physical assistance to students individually or in small groups at the direction of the teacher to reinforce and follow up instruction
* Assists with large group activities as drill work, reading aloud, and storytelling
* Maintains daily activity logs for your assigned student (s)
* Alerts regular teacher to any problem or special information about the individual student(s)
* Serves as the chief source of information for the assigned students to help any substitute teacher assigned in the absence of the regular teacher
* Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of teachers
* Operates and or assists in the use of student mobility devices such as, but not limited to, walker, wheelchair, braces, canes, etc.
* Assists students in self-care as assigned by teacher
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* A passion for supporting students with special needs and atypical development may exhibit. Behaviors may include hitting, kicking, yelling, and screaming
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Valid CPR /First Aid
* AZ Fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one
* Minimum of 6 months' of classroom experience or similar professional setting
* Ability to maintain and exhibit patience and understanding at all times
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents and staff members.
