Job Description

About the Role: The operations associate will be responsible for managing the front office of the school and supporting the school staff. The operations associate will be the first point of contact for all students, families, staff and visitors. This individual will assist in the implementation and maintenance of clear operational systems and work seamlessly with the Assistant Principal of Operations to make sure the operational goals and priorities set at the school level are consistently maintained.

This is a part-time, administrative, temporary, non-exempt position based in the school. The operations associate will report directly to the Assistant Principal of Operations. The operations associate will work with the school leadership team to complete all operational responsibilities.

Qualifications

Time Period: January ?29th - March 26th (spring break)

Qualifications:

  • This is an on-site position and requires the hired candidate to work at a school site (many safety precautions taken based on CDC an CDE information regarding COVID-19)
  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1+ years in customer service experience, operations or facilities
  • Must be able to stand for multiple hours and occasionally lift packages up to 50 pounds
  • Demonstrated experience in using computers to aide in set up and navigation
  • Demonstrated experience in using different computer programming and software such as Microsoft software, Google Drive, calendars, etc..
  • Brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and positivity to their school community.
  • Is hard-working and views challenges as opportunities for improvement.
  • Has high expectations and a willingness to hold themselves and others to those expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Track record of providing outstanding customer service
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Key Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in making sure technology is fully functional and available. Work with operations team to support day-to-day technology needs at the school.
  • Process all mail (including packages) and track in appropriate places.
  • Stock and replenish supplies and materials
  • Support the operations team in the successful execution of student facing systems including attendance, arrival, lunch and dismissal
  • Support families with completing enrollment applications
  • Work as liaison with school facilities staff to ensure all bathroom and facilities are in good working order
  • Fill-in for reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering phones, responding in a timely manner to incoming communication.
