Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Technical Sales and Repair Specialist within our Tirefill division in Richmond, VA. This position is responsible for purchasing and maintaining repair parts for equipment production resale.

Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the Technical Sales and Repair Specialist, you will be expected to work with and support the Tirefill Sales team to ensure customers have a positive experience with their technical support.

Your additional responsibilities as Technical Sales and Repair Specialist will include:

  • Purchase and maintain sufficient levels of repair parts for internal and external equipment production and for re-sale to customers
  • Maintain customer pricing for replacement parts in SAP
  • Perform inventory of parts and equipment on a quarterly basis
  • Produce delivery note via SAP for customer sales orders
  • Fulfill customer parts orders and ship via UPS
  • Build new and refurbish various types of Carpenter Tirefill processing equipment
  • Provide technical support to customers and Carpenter Sales team.
  • Perform equipment repairs at customers location
  • Perform training at customers location in the safe use of Carpenters Tirefill processing equipment and products
  • Create and submit expense reports weekly



  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in Technical Sales
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong commitment to excellent networking and relationship building skills
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and leadership skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to travel 5-10 nights per month as needed
