Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Records and tracks (manually and on computer) the dealership's vehicle deals, prepares documents related to the sale, verifies costs, including the cost of reconditioning and equipment add-ons, legal transfer documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles, and general business of dealership as necessary and as directed.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepares in an accurate and timely manner a variety of reports with differing lead times and due dates throughout the month.
2. Maintains accurate records of new and used vehicle transaction.
3. Audits, readouts, reconciles journals, schedules and other work products to insure accuracy. Accurately prepares tax and title documents.
5. Submits all transfer documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
7. Ensures name and address files are updated on an ongoing basis.


ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMIENTS:
1. Communicates clearly by telephone and simultaneously, accurately records information being given during the conversation process.
2. English reading and math skills at approximately the 10th grade level.
3. Daily attendance which is both consistent, regular and timely.
4. Uses personal computer to prepare documents and reports as required.
5. Works on several assignments simultaneously with accurate results.
6. Reads and accurately records or copies up to "18" alphanumeric series, dollar figures, words, and/or descriptions.
7. Takes direction on future assignments/tasks and follows through in a timely and accurate manner.
8. Works on a VDT for extended periods of time, utilizing a variety of programs and systems.
9. Physically inspects vehicles at various locations at the dealership.
10. Works with more than one person and/or task simultaneously, maintaining a cordial and friendly manner at
all times without internalizing frustration, anger or pressure.
11. Ability to maintain good employee relations by acting courteously and amicably towards other co-workers. 12. All physical requirements detailed on attached chart.



Must be proficient in phone and customer service skills. Arizona Retail Title and Registration experience a must. Fast paced and professional environment. Must be well-organized and flexible.
