Grade: 21 This position is eligible for full-time remote work (include virtual office arrangement). Must reside in the State of Arizona.
Job Summary:

The Division of Health Care Management is seeking an Information Management Coordinator.
This position will be responsible for the following:
* Assume responsibility for the development, coordination and administration of user acceptance testing with the Managed Care Organizations, Regional Behavioral Health Authority,
Tribal Regional Behavioral Health Authority and CRN to ensure appropriate tasks are tested, documented and outcomes are analyzed to ensure a high degree of accuracy for production promotes.
* Liaison with contractors, providers, and other Bureaus within the Division regarding evaluations including regular contact with
assigned staff at contractor sites and program monitoring
* Create systems for collection of evaluation data, provide training to contractors and create summary reports.
Coordinating, developing, and administering technical assistance and training as needed to ensure contractors adhere to all data
submission and reporting requirements
* Develop and refine data queries as necessary to review contractor performance
* Preparing and presenting results of data analysis
* Coordinate, develop and administer team and divisional training as needed on system enhancements
* Electronic Data Interchange technical support
* Encounters support and technical assistance
* Develop and maintain technical documentation
* Other duties will be assigned as needed which may require collaboration with colleagues within and outside the Division.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

* Computer application software knowledge to perform analysis and develop complex
models.
* Research methodology developments.
* Problem solving and technical writing.
Excellent analytical, research and problem solving skills to resolve operational problems
and improve system performance.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work and
communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of professionals internally and
externally.
* Skills in providing training, group facilitation, public speaking, technical
assistance and consultation in a clear, effective manner.

Qualifications:

Minimum: Two years experience in Public Health, or another closely related field (or equivalent experience), and at least one year
experience working in a managed care environment, or another closely related environment (or equivalent experience)

Preferred: Preferred Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Public Policy or another closely related field. Knowledge
of claims process and/or encounter process, EDI processes, system development life cycle, and system design. Experience as a team
lead or project management.
