Under the supervision of the TM Risk Analyst Supervisor, the TM Risk Analyst uses reporting and technology (Centrix PIQs, DLM) to ensure completion of ACH Origination and RDC periodic reviews and audits. Additionally, the position coordinates with banks on related risk management activities, as well as performing research on customer inquiries as received.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Tracks completion and following escalation process for customers periodic risk reviews for ACH origination, RDC (eDeposit) and mRDC per secondary credit risk guidance.
  • Utilizes the Centrix PIQs product emphasizing the robust reporting tools and bank(s) periodic customer risk reviews.
  • Ensures consistency and alignment for customer risk limits across multiple applications.
  • Completes ACH Origination implementations, modifications, maintenance and service requests within Signature, efficiently and expediently for internal and external Heartland bank customers through use of internal and external systems, processes and forms.
  • Completes ACH requests/inquiries which include but are not limited to: Letter of Indemnity, Copy of Authorizations/Permission for late returns, and Treasury Trace (Non-Receipts).
  • Performs daily OFAC review of Received IAT items daily.
  • Performs Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Risk Reviews found in TM Risk Calendar, as assigned.
  • Assists with the completion of quarterly payments dashboard reports for management on customer activity, volumes, trends, new developments, etc.
  • Performs daily and weekly review of RDC exception items.
  • Prepares RDC Annual review documents (initiating the process).
  • Complies with all Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements, Privacy of Customer Information Policy, and all consumer protection laws, regulations, and Bank policies as related to assigned job duties.
  • Stays up-to-date on current industry and regulatory trends regarding payment risks and best practices. Maintains accredited ACH Professional or accredited Payments Risk Professional status through continuing education, as relevant.
  • Completes annual E-Learning Plan and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training as assigned and keeps up-to-date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 1-3 years Financial services experience particularly in Treasury Services and/or Commercial Card is highly desired
  • Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet, and e-applications
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to own the client experience and drive for improvements
  • Previous experience working independently and concurrently on multiple projects, and projects in various stages and with varying durations and complexities
  • Excellent communication skills -- verbal and written
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills required to encourage a positive employee morale and teamwork environment and to represent the organization and its products and services in a positive & professional manner reflective of the organization's Mission Statement.
  • Prior experience working with ACH and/or RDC-related technologies preferred
