Position Summary |
The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is seeking candidates for temporary, part-time faculty to teach Biology courses. This will be a continuous recruitment starting with the spring 2025 semester. Applicants will be selected as needed per semester. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia county, TheUniversity of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of TheUniversity of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the regionand is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis onteaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs,technical vocational programs, Adult Basic Education, and Dual Credit HighSchool/College courses to Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty andstaff serve a student body of over 2,000 students per semester. UNM has earnedthe platinum-level distinction from FamilyFriendlyNM.org for its workplacepolicies. Best consideration date for the summer 2025 semester is March 1, 2025; for fall 2025, April 1, 2025. |
