This role will support defining a dedicated Caremark-focused Trade Operations team to support key negotiations, annual processes and define/execute new processes that drive value to Trade Government Programs.

As a Senior Advisor of Trade Government Programs Operations, you will assume a highly visible role on the Trade Operations team that drives strategic initiatives and operational execution in support of Trade Government Programs. As the pharmacy benefit landscape changes with new high cost therapies, increasing pressure to reduce pharmacy costs and the evolving policy landscape, the right person for this role is a highly motivated, forward-thinker who can identify opportunities and sort out root causes of issues while leveraging matrix partners to develop and execute innovative strategies effectively and efficiently. Your strategic vision, critical thinking, and creativity will aid in your success.

You will develop processes, project management status dashboards, and other tools to deliver actionable insights to Government Programs leadership and the broader Trade organization. You will be responsible for working with cross-functional partners to manage key status tracking during annual processes, provide project management support, and liaise with teams supporting reporting to deliver critical reports and ad hoc strategic analyses.

Primary responsibilities:
* Build and maintain annual process project management tools and dashboards: Develop the necessary project management tools and dashboards to drive annual process operations and communicate resulting value; support status submissions to existing project management governance.
* Compile monthly reporting overview of Government Programs team, working with Trade Negotiators and cross-functional partners to input
* Manage weekly status reports with Negotiator input, including high-visibility manufacturer disputes, contract status, and other critical status checks
* Manage documentation of process maps, new guiding principles, options analyses as needed; consult on recommended tools to support process improvement initiatives
* Provide additional project management support for key projects/initiatives in each LOB as needed
* Upkeep reporting and documentation on file-sharing tools as needed (i.e. Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
* Support framing of decks/analyses for an executive-level audience, including managing working with cross-functional partners to identify any data needs

To be successful, you will utilize your ability to create and manage effective tools to drive efficient operations, as well as your experience coordinating across cross-functional teams with the ability to identify critical issues.

Required Qualifications
* 5 years of project management experience within healthcare, PBM, insurance industry, or equivalent management consulting experience
* 3+ years of leading development of process improvement initiatives or leveraging lean tools/concepts

Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, other government-funded programs strongly preferred
* Experience working with data from Pharma, PBMs, or Healthcare
* Policy research and analysis, particularly with respect to rulings by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
* MBA, Masters Degree, or PhD preferred

Education
Bachelor's Degree required.
