Job Description

The incumbent in this position supports the Traditional Preservation Program by developing and translating new teaching materials. The individual in this position is also responsible for teaching traditional language and encouraging student participation to enhance developmental skills. High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in education system-related projects is or experience serving as cultural language instructor is preferred. Ability to speak the Elaponke, Creek and/or Miccosukee language is highly desirable. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal skills, and communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
