GENERAL SUMMARY:

The incumbent will work consistently with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on curriculum development and project deliverables. Consequently, the incumbent must be able to manage time and multiple projects effectively. The candidate will create and facilitate training content to further enhance and support the Banks culture. In this role, the incumbent will gain exposure to the Banks leadership and gain a comprehensive understanding of commercial banking operations, programs, products and procedures in order to effectively support our employee development initiatives.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the creation of training content and ensure messaging and content is aligned with top priorities and best practices.
  • Analyze, design, develop and implement curriculum for continued staff and management development.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, managers and fellow trainers on key deliverables.
  • Manage the development of new modules within a curriculum to reinforce EagleBank processes or highlight a new product or service via e-Learning, web-based sessions or classroom sessions.
  • Create job aids, user guides and tutorials to assist employee job functions.
  • Collaborate with management to incorporate training on new programs, promotions or initiatives to support the overall company sales goals.
  • Investigate available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective manner in which to conduct programs.
  • Manage the Commercial Banking Development Program.
  • Conduct quarterly training updates for all employees training initiatives and management development curriculum.
  • Track and report training participation and attendance using the automated records management system.
  • Assist in the design and implementation and management of an onboarding program for all new employees.
  • Assist in planning the annual training calendar through collaboration with Director of HR.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources or a related field of study.
  • 5 years of professional training experience, preferably in banking or a financial institution.
  • 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience using a Learning Management System.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of instructional theories and principles.
  • Experience working with survey vehicles such as Survey Monkey or Qualtrics.
  • An understanding of authoring tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia and Photoshop.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications.
  • Proficient use of Instructional Design software. Captivate, Camtasia and Adobe Connect preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Live Meeting, GoTo Meeting or Adobe Connect.
