Job Description

Cheyenne Village, Inc., a local 501(c)3 non-profit, has been providing residential and support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the Colorado Springs area for more than 50 years. Cheyenne Village, Inc. is largest provider of residential services to adults with IDD in the Colorado Springs areas. Cheyenne Village. Inc. is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Training Coordinator. The position is responsible to develop, conduct, and document all staff trainings required to meet state and federal licensing requirements and Cheyenne Village policy requirement. Responsible for writing curriculum's that meet regulatory standards including outlines, text, handouts, tests and design classroom exercises. Update all classes as curriculum changes.

Maintains accurate and detailed training records for each employee. Assures all new staff have met all training requirements prior to working alone with persons served.

Salary up to $25.00 per hour.

High School diploma or equivalent, computer experience, and two-year experience working with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities required. College degree and experience instructing adults in a learning environment strongly preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Must be 21 years of age and have an acceptable criminal and driving record.
