Provides administrative support and customer service support to the Transplant department and program to facilitate quality patient care. Receives, greets and provides appropriate directions for patients, families, visitors, physicians, ancillary personnel and vendors in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner. Performs clerical and reception duties including answering multiple phone lines, taking messages, and triaging calls. Assists patients with scheduling tests and retrieves reports. Coordinates, retrieves and communicates patient information including diagnostic and lab results to physicians, staff, and other departments. Prepares patients for clinic including rooming patient, taking vital signs and assisting with order requests. Prepares patient charts and maintains database for patient presentations. Assists nursing with UNOS form requirements.
What You Bring/Job RequirementsIn addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Previous CNA and Medical Assistant experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication (both written and oral) skills
- Basic computer skills
- Certificate of competition from a Medical Assistant program or current Colorado CNA licensure required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
