Position Summary: The Treasury Analyst will apply and post receipts daily, resolve debtor payment issues with Account Executives, fund all clients as requested, and retain proper documentation for audit purposes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Gather data and assumptions and update the banks asset/liability management (ALM) model (Empyrean) and produce scenario simulation results
  • Develop and continually recalibrate modeling assumptions used to model interest rate risk, liquidity risk, funds transfer pricing, and credit stress testing
  • Identify process improvements within analytics, challenge existing processes where needed and develop an overall conceptually sound model
  • Maintain, validate, and document all models and assumptions
  • Work closely with internal departments to develop, prepare, reconcile, and modify recurring and ad-hoc reporting
  • Prepare reports, analysis, and documentation for financial reporting, regulatory reporting, ALCO reporting, and internal and external audits
  • Take ownership of assigned projects from concept through implementation
  • Perform all other job duties and research and analysis assignments as needed and directed
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience & Education
  • Requires a bachelors degree in mathematics, economics, business, accounting, finance or other related fields
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in asset/liability management
  • Experience operating vendor financial models and quantitative analysis preferred
  • Understanding of accounting principles (balance sheet and income statement composition)
  • Experience in analytical techniques used with large, complex data sets
  • High level of understanding of financial risk models and quantitative analysis
  • Experienced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Power Query, SQL, Word, Access, and PowerPoint

Skills & Abilities Required

  • Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good planning and organization skills
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Technical expertise is preferred
