Responsible for updating, maintaining and researching a variety of provider file information in multiple systems.

Required Work Experience

  • 3 years of experience in general business field (level 1)
  • 5 years of experience in general business field (levels 2 and 3)
  • 2 years of experience in performing provider maintenance tasks (level 2)
  • 4 years of experience in performing provider maintenance tasks (level 3)

Required Education

  • High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study

ESSENTIAL job functions AND RESPONSIBILITIES

LEVEL 1

  • Responsible for receiving and logging provider rosters received from Provider groups.
  • Responsible for reaching out to Provider Groups to verify information, obtain current rosters and resolve issues with loading provider data.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the applicable provider file database(s) with documentation submitted.
  • Responsible for ensuring all roster records are addressed
  • Responsible for updating documentation for VBC of roster results

LEVEL 2

  • Responsible for provider contract file research and to recommend appropriate actions and/or maintenance.
  • Responsible for researching and responding to inquiries for roster research
  • Responsible for contacting VBC for information related to provider file claims edits.

LEVEL 3

  • Analyze reports for any data corrections and processes for the Association.
  • Responsible for the review of the provider files for Quality Control.

ALL Levels

  • Each progressive level includes the ability to perform the essential functions of any lower levels.
  • The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.
  • This position must maintain a passing QC rate.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
