Job Description Summary
As a Vice President, IT working for Taylor Morrison you will serve as the focal point between the Quality Assurance, Marketing Applications (Website), Salesforce, Corporate Applications and Business Intelligence teams, internal business, and our service providers to ensure that our systems are fully optimized to deliver extraordinary service to our customers.This individual will report to the CIO in our Corporate office in Scottsdale, Arizona.Job Details
We trust that as a Vice President, IT you will: (responsibilities)
Position will report to Taylor Morrison CIO
Partner with the CIO and direct reports to develop the strategic direction and to create business cases for IT investments in support of Taylor Morrison business objectives that are consistent with Taylor Morrison IT Strategy
Lead the IT team that provides IT support and life cycle management including but not limited to Sitecore, Salesforce, Newstar, OneStream and Workday
Assume all operational and organizational development responsibilities for the team the position is directing
Operational tasks include managing headcount, budgets, forecasts, program delivery and contract negotiations with key providers. Organizational tasks include staffing, goal setting, performance management, training and career development for the team
Must have willingness and ability to collaborate across Taylor Morrison corporate functions and throughout layers of the organization in order to resolve ambiguity, to prioritize activities and to gain consensus in order to achieve results. Must have the business acumen and presence to interact and partner with the executive leaders of the company
Will be responsible for leveraging existing company infrastructure to provide desired system performance and reliability as well as end user help desk support for Sitecore, Salesforce, Newstar, OneStream and Workday users
Partner with Taylor Morrison leadership to create strategies and plans to identify gaps, resolve concerns and implement improvements in support of Taylor Morrison objectives
Complete life cycle management of identified improvement projects
Monitor compliance to IT related regulatory requirements imposed on systems under your supervision
Operate consistently in conformance to Taylor Morrison Code of Conduct, Taylor Morrison IT Policy Manual and within the guidelines of SOX requirements
Be available to assist others in the event vice president has unique skills and abilities that can contribute to broader Taylor Morrison activities and/or projects

About you:
- Bachelors degree in related field or 15 years of experience in related and relevant IT position(s)
- Comprehensive IT background with business applications and IT infrastructure experience
- Experience leading and managing a team of IT professionals
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams to implement and manage change
- Ability to partner with remote technical team and local business leadership
- Experience working in publicly owned company and/or industries with SOX compliance program
- Project management experience preferred
- Results oriented - relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- An ability to collaborate, influence and creatively negotiate with clients and colleagues is expected
- Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and take initiative to achieve results
- Proven ability to create strong working relationships with others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
FLSA Status: Exempt
Will have responsibilities such as:

Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
Ability to oversee direct reports daily and provide guidance as needed

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed

Physical Demands:
Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
