Job Description: Vice President of Sales
Key Purpose
The Vice President of Sales is a senior leader responsible for driving regional sales initiatives, expanding sales channels, and achieving revenue targets across all services offered by ISS. This role is accountable for overall sales performance in the region, fostering strategic client relationships, and driving new business, market share, and revenue growth in alignment with the companys objectives.
As a key leader, the VP of Sales oversees both Inside and Outside Sales teams, setting and adjusting strategies to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in B2B commercial sales within the facility management industry, stays ahead of market trends, and demonstrates exceptional leadership and executive presence.
Candidates with experience in leading transformational business initiatives or turnaround teams are strongly preferred.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and support company growth, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to synchronize sales efforts with broader business objectives.
- Financial Management: Manage sales P&L to ensure cost-effectiveness, profitability, and alignment with corporate financial goals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to secure new business and sustain existing partnerships.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed of industry developments, competitor strategies, and market trends to refine sales tactics and identify new opportunities.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations for high-value, multi-year contracts, ensuring client satisfaction with tailored tech solutions.
- Representation: Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales KPIs, implementing strategies to improve sales productivity and effectiveness.
- Market Development: Drive market expansion, particularly in emerging or underserved areas, to increase market share and profitability.
- Consultative Sales Leadership: Leverage expertise in complex financial or professional services solutions to lead consultative sales processes and deliver customized client solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required.
- Masters degree or MBA preferred
Experience:
- 10+ years in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in the aviation industry is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic decision-making and data-driven analysis expertise.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and sit at a computer for extended periods.
- General office environment with occasional domestic and international travel based on business needs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
ISS offers full time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $250000 per year- $300000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
