JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to Steward Health Care System for supporting the corporate mission, vision and values. Responsible to Information Technology for the guidance, assistance and cooperation to achieve the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness of system service and request. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR DUTIES

1. Installs voice communication systems including phones, wiring and programming. Also upgrades existing voice communication systems.
2. Evaluates new voice communications technology and makes recommendation to the Site Manager and Manager of Network Services.
3. Performs informal training in voice communications equipment usage when necessary.
4. Attending training classes when necessary.
5. Performs related duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of a college or technical training program in telephone technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
