JOB DESCRIPTION
The Pinal County Crime Victim Compensation Board members review and determine if eligibility requirements were met on victim claims for reimbursement of crime-related expenses that are a direct result of a violent crime. The volunteer, after successfully completing the required training is expected to have a thorough understanding of the program rules, ability to read and comprehend board packets and participate in the monthly board meeting. Monthly board meetings run approximately one to two hours. Due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the information, the volunteer must be able to maintain confidentiality. The volunteer is expected to exercise discretion in the application of policies, procedures, and guidelines of the program. The position is under the supervision of the PCAO Victim Services Manager.
