Reporting directly to the SR VP & Chief Nursing Officer, the VP Nursing Business Operations, in working collaboratively with the Group VPs of Nursing and facility CNOs, will be operationally responsible for enterprise-wide comprehensive staffing structures and policies including accountability for the comprehensive central staffing office and nursing department budget process. Additionally, the position will facilitate the contract labor process and be the contract enterprise liaison. The VP Nursing Business Operations will be accountable for the RN residency program and the experienced nurse transition program and will the enterprise nursing liaison to HR for nursing workforce planning and programs. Also, the position will be accountable for the clinical ladder program and the future development, implementation, and management of the enterprise monitoring resource center. A key component of the position will be the development and oversight of nursing leader succession planning and nursing leadership development programs incorporating AONL standards for nurse leaders. The role will have dotted line accountability over Quality/HRO initiatives and will be a leader of critical system nursing initiatives; supporting and facilitating achievement of Centura's nursing strategy.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing Required (other disciplines are accepted if you hold a BSN in Nursing)
  • MBA and/or DNP is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years as a CNO required, prefer system CNO experience
  • 10 years progressive nursing leadership experience required.
  • Current Colorado RN Licnese Required
  • Nurse Executive Certification or Eligible
