VP, PBM / Payor Marketing

The VP, PBM/Payor Marketing reports to the CVS Caremark and CVS Specialty, Chief Marketing Officer, and leads a team of 36 professionals responsible for the development of B2B marketing and content strategies and effectiveness measures for the PBM and its portfolio of solutions. Defines and aligns marketing strategies to balance short-term goals with long-term brand value ensuring greater market visibility and awareness of CVS Healths differentiated value proposition.

You will be the lead architect of the PBMs value story and image, drive the multi-year marketing strategy, lead the content strategy and editorial calendar and timeline, and oversee the go-to-market strategy for product launches and for continuous evolution of our Caremark offerings. A collaborative team mindset and the ability to build consensus in a cross-functional environment is required. We are looking for a marketing innovator who will refine CVS Caremarks brand image and messages, and lead the way to greater visibility and awareness of our differentiated value proposition.

Major Responsibilities:
* Proactively drives the multi-year marketing strategy to support growth and revenue targets for the companys pharmacy benefit management services and its portfolio of solutions. Responsible for B2B employer and health plan marketing, product marketing, content marketing and field enablement. Participates with sales and marketing leaders in strategic planning and growth initiatives.
* Leverages market, competitive, and sales insights and intelligence to create innovative payor insights, prioritize messaging and create compelling content to show how CVS Health can address client challenges, improve health outcomes and meet business goals.
* Leads marketing efforts focused on brand strategy, communications, campaigns, customer case studies and market research that align with strategic goals and drive business opportunities; oversees the development of the brand and empowers the organization to execute.
* Leads a culture of collaboration with marketing and field sales leaders to align specific marketing strategies with sales goals, timelines and pipeline management initiatives. Drives the adoption of brand messaging and PBM value stories in the market segments and assesses impact.
* Collaborate with Product Marketing Leadership in the initial conceptualization of new offerings and the development of the strategic business plan, bringing insights on the clients, competitive differentiation and overall positioning.
* Develops a best-in-class payor marketing and sales support team focused on creating brand positioning, growth of the portfolio and awareness of the PBM value proposition for payors.

Remote location - Work from home

Required Qualifications
* 15 years + experience in healthcare or payor
* Knowledge of how to leverage product portfolios, channels and go-to-market approaches to achieve business results
* Knowledge of digital tools, marketing technology and tactics
* Marketing measurement and technology
* Inspiring, collaborating with, and influencing business partners
* Navigating and succeeding in a highly matrixed organization
* Development of segmentation and marketing strategies based on insights and data

* Domestic travel: up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of PBM industry, competitive landscape and market challenges a plus

Education
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred
