DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Southeast Houston area
Pay: $15-17 per hour, based on experience
Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm
Duration: Temp-to-hire
Description of Duties: Warehouse Associate position is now available in the Southeast Houston area! In order to successfully apply for this role, you should be comfortable with the following job duties: Assist in shipping and receiving material, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise. Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to sales associates for processing. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to other designated areas. Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. File requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials. Distribute items to shipping or other designated areas for route drivers. Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic. Assemble customer orders from stock. Place orders on pallets or shelves. Assist in counting of physical inventory. Maintain the warehouse facilities to ensure cleanliness. Correctly measure wire, load wire on machine and operate all machinery in a safe manner that is in compliance with company safety standards. Properly label all completed wire cuts with applicable information, including customer label.
Requirements: One or more years of prior warehouse experience. Current TWIC; Forklift certified preferred but not required. Strong communication skills. Must have good attitude. Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills. Basic mathematics skills. Able to work in a fast pace environment. Time management.
