    JOB DESCRIPTION WAREHOUSE CLERK

    Classified Non-Exempt New Hire Compensation Guide-$15.23
    TITLE: Warehouse Clerk FTE: 1.0
    FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt HOURS PER DAY: 8
    WORK CALENDAR: 261 days
    GRADE: C

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Able to perform a variety of clerical and general warehouse services utilized in the
    administration, maintenance, and operations of the Agua Fria Union High School District
    Warehouse
    2. Must pass physical examination and annual drug screening as prescribed by AACR17-9-102.
    3. Knowledge of business machines and computers preferred
    4. Possess good organizational skills
    5. Operate the districts automated computer tracking system for data entry, inventory and stock
    locations
    6. Maintain a variety of hard and/or electronic copy files of daily shipment logs, purchase orders,
    and requisitions
    7. Enter and maintains a variety of computerized database files and records.
    8. Receive a variety of consumable items, materials, equipment and warehouse stock items and
    verify accuracy of information
    9. Participate in the periodic and end of the year inventory for all warehouse stock and verify
    stock items according to established procedures
    10. Serve as a back-up to Warehouse Technician and Warehouse Lead to conduct interoffice
    deliveries as needed
    11. Responsible for conducting County Schools mail pickup and delivery
    12. Operate forklift, pallet jacks, rolling ladders, and other related warehouse equipment, as
    needed
    13. Assist in maintaining the warehouse in an orderly and efficient manner
    14. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues
    15. Provide a welcoming atmosphere for staff and delivery vendors
    16. Perform responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner
    17. Maintain punctual and regular attendance
    18. Perform other related duties as assigned

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
    satisfactorily. The qualifications for this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill

    Education / Certificate
    1. Must be 21 years of age and possess or acquire a valid Arizona Drivers License
    2. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
    3. High School Diploma or equivalent certificate is required
    Experience
    4. Two or more years of experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
    Communication Skills
    5. Speaking, reading and writing in English is required
    6. Bilingual communication is beneficial
    Computer Skills
    7. Knowledge of Google Suites
    8. Ability to interact with purchase requisition system, inventory systems and electronic database
    entry and management is required
