Warehouse General Labor

Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking Warehouse Associates for the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Receiving and Unloading:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents.

- Unload trucks and inspect items for damage or discrepancies.

- Accurately record received goods and ensure proper storage.

Inventory Management:

- Organize and maintain inventory levels.

- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

- Rotate stock to ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory management.

Quality Control:

- Inspect products for defects or damage.

- Report any quality issues to supervisors.

- Ensure that products meet quality standards.

Equipment Operation:

- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

- Ensure equipment is well-maintained and report any issues.

Safety and Compliance:

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Comply with company policies and procedures.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.

- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification may be required).

- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.

- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

- Adherence to safety guidelines and practices.
