Job Description
Diversified is hiring for a Warehouse Manager for a company in the Carrollton, TX area!
1st shift-9am-6pm
$24/hr plus DOE
Overseeing Daily Activities:
- The Warehouse Lead coordinates the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. Their goal is to ensure efficiency and timeliness in these processes.
- They manage the daily warehousing activities, making sure everything runs smoothly.
Safety and Health Guidelines:
- Implementing and enforcing safety and health guidelines within the warehouse is a key responsibility.
- The Warehouse Lead ensures a safe working environment for all employees.
Inventory Control:
- Managing inventory levels is essential. They minimize loss and maximize accuracy through regular audits and updates to the inventory management system. Conduct Cycle counts.
Training and Mentoring:
- The Warehouse Lead trains and mentors warehouse staff on operational procedures and best practices.
Job Duties:
Picking and Packing materials
Checking for defects and inspecting materials
Loading and unloading
Operating a forklift
Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
Ability to lift a minimum of up to 50lbs
Qualifications:
Highly self-motivated, family-orientated individual
Ability to maintain solid attendance and punctuality
MUST have warehouse experience
