Job Summary:

The incumbent will serve as the Relationship Manager on all Wealth Management consumer loans, residential mortgage loans, and subordination requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze entire complex loan file, including application, credit report, income and asset documentation, customer identification information, OFAC review, title verification, fraud review, collateral review, and property valuation.
  • Work closely will wealth sales team and consumer finance to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Efficiently manage pipeline of loans, including follow up to ensure timely decision.
  • Ensure rate locks and purchase dates are met for residential mortgage loans and that consumer loans are underwritten to turnaround time standards.
  • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy of HMDA data for reporting.
  • Review and process subordination requests.
  • Work closely with branch representatives, account reps, and mortgage originators to ensure customer service, including effective handling of difficult telephone and personal inquiries.

Education, Experience & Skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • 5 years of experience in consumer loan underwriting.
  • Advanced knowledge of consumer and/or conventional mortgage underwriting process.
  • In depth understanding of loan origination process.
  • Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
