Job Description Summary

The Taylor Morrison Brand Marketing and Communications team is redefining the way consumers shop for and buy new homes in a more customer-centric, digitally enabled way. We are steadfast on creating frictionless customer experiences through digital solutions across all of our customer interactions and we need a Website Manager to help us get there. The Website and Digital Content Manager will serve at the intersection of marketing, IT and operations to help us deliver world-class website experiences for home shoppers now and into the future.

Website technology is growing exponentially, and we are looking for someone who recognizes the ever-evolving customer needs and can quickly help to implement solutions that add value to the overall customer experience. This role is responsible for oversight of all website functionality including planning, development, scope of work, and critical evaluation in support of Taylor Morrisons mission of making online home shopping frictionless.

We trust that as a Website Manager you will: (responsibilities)

  • Manage Sitecore Content Management System
  • Explore new technology and suggest website enhancements focusing on the customer journey.
  • Manage annual roadmap journey ensuring planned projects are vetted and ready for the development team to meet deployment target dates.
  • Ensure adherence to web and graphic standards.
  • Become the website/Sitecore expert with the ability to train internal resources and communicate operational changes to the field.
  • Develop user stories for enhancement projects and bugs to ensure developers, QA and other stakeholders understand the needed changes.
  • Work collaboratively with the IT department to identify needed enhancements and when those can fit into the scheduling pipeline.
  • Solicit feedback from field marketing and sales for enhancements that will assist home shoppers.
  • Act as point of contact for third-party vendors including web developers, consultants, and other digital resources.
  • Remain informed of competitor online efforts and position Taylor Morrison to continue to lead in the space.
  • Manage daily routine tasks including securing URLs, monthly website audits, admin-level website content updates and field questions from various divisions.
  • Submit information to Google My Business, Apple Maps, Google Maps and other third-party systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

About you: (requirements)

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in marketing project and website management.
  • A passion for solving challenges in simple ways for internal and external customers.
  • Understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and how websites connect and provide data to these systems.
  • Visionary who can look at the external environment and conceptualize tools to expedite customers on the home shopping path.
  • A history of delivering consistent results with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to present complex/abstract concepts in simple cogent terms.
  • The ability to organize, prioritize and execute on work with a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork/collaboration mindset with the ability to work with stakeholders and leaders throughout the organization.
  • Experience with Sitecore preferred or equivalent CMS system.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred or equivalent CRM system.
  • Experience with online shopping platforms preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work with multiple product owners and manage deadlines and schedules.
  • Ability to develop new, relevant technology skills when needed to become the product expert.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps card management system preferred or equivalent DevOps platform.
  • Ability to address complex situations and problems by breaking them into smaller pieces.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and business requirements.
  • The ability to independently set priorities and make experience-based decisions.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
