Responsibilities: As a Welder, you will be responsible for the following:
- Welding Operations: Perform welding operations using various processes such as MIG, TIG, and ARC to fabricate or repair metal structures.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and shaping components to precise measurements.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of welded structures, identifying and rectifying any defects.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean welding equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to achieve project goals and timelines.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Welder, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of welding projects.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a welding environment.
- Welding certification is a plus.
