Activities Director Extended Care

Director of Activities plans, develops, implements, and evaluates the Activities Programs at Extended Care in accordance with existing federal, state, and local standards. The Director is responsible for assuring that the programs meet the spiritual, recreational, intellectual, work and service needs of residents living in the skilled nursing facility and actively participants in the QA process as assigned. Oversees the activity aides within the department consisting of hiring, training, scheduling, delegating, supervising, and evaluating personnel who assist with all department tasks as deemed appropriate. The director oversees the volunteer program for the Extended Care facility. Must obtain the following certification: Activity Director certified through state of Montana, Dementia training preferred.
