Course: General Chemistry II Lab

This laboratory section reinforces and expands learning of principles introduced in the lecture course. Experiments include determination of rate law, examples of Le Chteliers principle, the use of pH indicators, buffer preparation, experimental determination of thermodynamic quantities, the use of electrochemical cells, and qualitative and quantitative analysis.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the Universitys Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

  • Preferred: Masters or Doctorate in Chemistry
  • Minimum: Masters in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry
