Grand Canyon University has an opening for Adjunct Health Care faculty members for an in-person, Main Campus course, and we invite applications from individuals who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with our Health Care students.

What you will do:

  • Provide program instruction, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline
  • Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation
  • Uphold the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession as well as the pillars of the University
  • Equip students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession
  • Participate in and/or support of the university program in all areas including an evident congruence with the philosophy and direction of the institution, and service to the community
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the Universitys Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What you need:

  • Masters/Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology OR a related field with 18 graduate credits in Speech, Language and Harding Science
  • 3 or more years of professional experience. Previous professional experience teaching communication sciences and disorders at the postsecondary level is preferred.
  • We are currently hiring for the Spring semester, 1/5/26-4/26/26.
  • Class runs 2 days a week, either Tuesday/Thursday OR Wednesday/Friday for 1 hour and 45 minutes, each day. Flexible scheduling available between the hours of 9 AM-3 PM.
  • As this is an in-person class, only local AZ candidates will be considered.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screen.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
  • Proficient in English, Grammar, and writing in APA format
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the Universitys Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
