Position Summary |
The UNM HSC Animal Resource Facility (ARF) is seeking a detail-oriented, driven individual to join our team as an Admin Assistant to the Director. The Unit Administrator supervises this position and the individual will be responsible to coordinate, oversee, and/or perform a wide variety of administrative, secretarial, and program support activities on behalf of the Director, and Unit Administrator for a large animal research service center. This person will serve as the support administrative assistant to the ARF administrative office point of contact for internal and external constituencies to include ARF staff, PI laboratory members, and other university and non-university stakeholders. This person will primarily be working in an office environment but will require limited entry into a laboratory animal research facility, which could result in limited risks of exposure to animal allergens and odors. Minimum Qualifications |
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
