Job Description
The Administrative Assistant serves to support the HEDIS Team and the Year Round Record Review team by processing incoming records received in response to record requests; communicating with and supporting provider partners; supporting and training temporary staff during the annual HEDIS audit; supporting the FTE staff for HEDIS and YRMRR with administrative needs; maintaining access and contacts for a variety of portals used for record retrieval.
The Administrative Assistant will provide a wide variety of administrative support by handling and processing the incoming requested records and following up with provider offices for records not received. Strong candidates will be those that demonstrate flexibility and experience working under pressure with an awareness of and ability to meet deadlines

Required Qualifications
Previous administrative/secretarial or related experience
Excellent, professional phone and email skills
Professional office demeanor and good work ethic
Conscientious problem solver, willing to learn, takes personal pride in their work performance
High Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication skills - clear, concise and appropriate
Proven organizational and time management skills
Self-Motivated * Computer savvy

Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Adobe
Previous experience with HEDIS and/or experience with a variety of electronic medical records systems and paper medical charts is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent
Associate's College degree considered a plus
