Job Summary

The primary function of the API Troubleshooter is to provide dependable and timely resolution for complex software issues (specifically related to API specific issues). The position requires a combination of strong troubleshooting, technical, communication and analytical skills to deliver the highest level of problem resolutions to customers

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work on issues that are reported to SAP Ariba Customer Support through the service request entry process.
  • The API Troubleshooter will be responsible for working reported issues to completion and providing timely status updates on investigations back to customers through the service request
  • Interact directly with customers through the service request system (emails sent through BCP), phone calls, or screen-sharing sessions with the customer to resolve customer reported issues
  • Resolve issues through the recreation of reported issue, troubleshooting through use of POSTMAN, analysis of JSON request/response code, and review of error codes to determine root cause
  • SAP Ariba experience

Qualifications and Skills

  • Should be a Graduate
  • 2+ year experience with REST or RESTful APIs
  • Prior experience in API troubleshooting
  • Experience in SAP Ariba
  • Must have knowledge in POSTMAN/JSON.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Should be flexible to work in 24x7 environment
