Job Description
Application Engineer - Duties are provide technical engineering & customer liaison support services for engine & powertrain test systems integration, development, commissioning & troubleshooting mechanical infrastructure & emission measurement systems including commission test cells, high speed data acquisition systems & driver robots for vehicle testing; implement & tune control loops; integrate auxiliary equipment into test systems; create commissioning documentation; conduct test bed data acquisition automation software review of test cycles & screens for test systems; troubleshoot & calibrate industrial drives, dynamometers & measurement & conditioning devices; write scripts to automate custom processes; & provide training on system applications. Requires Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field & 3 yrs exp in job duties. Salary is $167k to $197k.
