Injury Prevention: Develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to individual athletes and teams, including warm-up routines, conditioning programs, and proper equipment usage.

Injury Assessment and Treatment: Evaluate and diagnose injuries, provide first aid and emergency care, and develop rehabilitation programs to ensure a safe and effective return to activity.

Rehabilitation Programs: Design and oversee rehabilitation plans for injured athletes, monitor progress, and adjust treatments as necessary to promote safe and efficient recovery.

Education: Educate athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders on injury prevention, proper training techniques, and healthy lifestyle choices to enhance athletic performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for injured athletes.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progress, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all athletic training activities are conducted in accordance with state regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.

Education: Bachelors degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.

Certification: Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) credential by the Board of Certification (BOC).

Additional Information:
The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for preventing, diagnosing, and treating muscle and bone injuries and illnesses.
