How this role supports our mission:
The ADC Supervisor assists the ADC Manager with the supervision of all ADC personnel. The ADC Supervisor ensures that all Attendant Donation Centers (ADC) are properly staffed. The ADC Supervisor assists with providing initial and on-going training and supervision for all ADC personnel and works with the Transportation Department to ensure a proper flow of donated goods.
What we require from you:
- Three (3) year supervisory experience with a staff of 15 or more employees.
- Must possess a valid AZ drivers license reflecting driving record that meets insurance standards.
- Must pass initial and subsequent drug screenings as prescribed by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) regulations.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be able to stand for long periods of time; bend, reach and stretch repeatedly during a shift.
- Must pass the strength and agility test with a minimum of "light" score.

Assist with employee training, development, and coaching following GISA policies and standards.
Maintain accurate records for assigned locations, ensure proper flow of information; monitor accuracy of Donor Tally/Time Forms.
Assist manager with preparing employee weekly schedules.
Ensure Kaizen site audits are completed as required and all corrective actions are taken in a timely manner.
Report all unusual or suspicious occurrences to the ADC Manager.
Ensure ADC personnel meet high standards of customer service, proper dress and prescribed grooming guidelines.
Ensure ADC personnel follow proper sorting, packing, and stacking procedures while maintaining a neat and clean work environment.
Receives and reviews ADC call-ins in order to ensure proper Point of Distribution (POD) staffing.
Ensure security of donated goods through enforcement of security guidelines and standards.
Maintain assigned company vehicle in clean/safe driving.
Assist with maintaining ADC work facilities; submits work orders in a timely manner.
Promote safety awareness and safe work habits.
Assist in ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment.
Assist manager with proper completing time-cards, weekly processing reports and other employee documentation.
Operate vehicles and equipment in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and environments.
Ability to read, write, and speak English; follow written and verbal instruction.
Possess current AZ drivers license, and personal transportation with proof of auto insurance.
