Job Summary Amentum has an opportunity for a highly qualified candidate as an Audio Visual Systems Engineer to support all aspects of AV operations within USINDOPACOM at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. This is a contingent position, which means we are pipelining candidates for future openings . You will operate as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and first-line troubleshooter for all hardware and software configurations of the AV control systems and end devices (e.g. DVDs, VCRs, audio systems, video display units, projectors, room AV control systems). You'll assist users by setting up necessary conference room AV systems for briefings, presentations, and conferences and work closely with Video Teleconference (VTC) personnel to establish VTC connectivity and to verify AV equipment is functional. You'll support different types of VTCs that are IP-based and ISDN-based within the UNCLASS, SECRET, COALITION, and JWICS enclaves utilizing AMX control systems for conference rooms and operational centers. Major end devices you'll be responsible for include video wall displays (projection and flat screen), audio systems manufactured by ClearOne, Audio/Video Switches manufactured by EXTRON, CISCO VTC codecs and cameras, AMX touch control systems, SmartBoards, BRG clocks, and Alpha signs. Essential Responsibilities: * Design, deploy, manage, and sustain USINDOPACOM AV systems by ensuring conference rooms, offices, and VTC desktop based systems are operational and ready for use per mission requirement.
* Ensure expedited AV services are provided during restricted meetings. If required, the contractor shall attend a Read-In brief prior to providing AV support.
* Provide first-line (Tier 1) troubleshooting and maintenance for all hardware and software configurations of USPACOM AV and VTC systems, AV infrastructures and components, and AV Control Systems (e.g. AMX, Crestron, Extron, etc.) by working in conjunction with internal and external organizations.
* On a quarterly basis at a minimum, provide recommendations for new AV systems hardware, and software and recommend improvements to existing AV systems. In addition, provide solutions and complex trouble resolutions, and their associated risks.
* Troubleshoot AV and VTC equipment on a daily basis and ensure AV equipment is properly functioning.
* Create and update accurate AV and VTC documents, such as, diagrams, programming codes, instructions and all other associated information.
* Monitor USINDOPACOMs trouble ticketing system and act on all assigned AV and VTC "fix it" requests and new requirements. There are approximately 135 trouble tickets per month.
* Ensure AV and VTC systems meet USINDOPACOM Information Assurance (IA) and USINDOPACOM Security Office Federal, Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), local, and industry policies/standards for security and safety compliance.
* Conduct the appropriate DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) validations and account for vulnerabilities on the AV network. Take the necessary actions to mitigate or cease risks of identified vulnerabilities and ensure compliancy and proper operational use.
* Attend scheduled Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, acting as the AV/VTC SME, and provide expertise regarding requested USINDOPACOM projects.
* Complete quarterly audits on all AV and VTC equipment and maintain an accurate and complete inventory list to include the addition of new/upgraded equipment, as well as, the removal of outdated equipment.
* Design, plan and manage AV required for Continuity of Operations (COOP) Services at the primary and backup locations to include assisting with local and distant-end AV organizations.
* Plan and execute assigned Information Technology (IT) projects in conjunction with the Government, to include integrated change control. Using established Project Management principles, create project plans for assigned IT projects, which may include projects to integrate and deploy acquired assets or software. Develop project schedules in coordination with USINDOPACOM J64 representatives. Perform risk assessment planning throughout the lifecycle of the projects. Create and deliver a Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) for each assigned project which may include but is not limited to goals and objectives, anticipated start and end dates, constraints and available resources. Minimum Requirements * Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience)
* At least 5 years' experience, with 3 years' experience in in AV and VTC systems and operations
* Must have a current Security+ certification
* Experience with AV Control System programming and installation (i.e. AMX, Crestron, Extron, etc.)
* Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
* Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen
* Must have an active Top Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible Preferred Qualifications * Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) preferred
* Experience with Microsoft Office Visio and/or AutoCAD is preferred
* AV manufacturer certification desired if Contractor attended manufacturer training
