Position Summary:
Southern California's premier golf destination, Maderas Golf club is currently accepting applications for a Banquet Server. If you are experienced, knowledgeable, confident and gracious with an intuitive understanding of superior customer service, we want you!
Responsibilities and Duties:
The banquet server will be responsible for serving food and beverages during special events, following through with special requests and exceeding guest expectations. The server will be responsible for attending to guests in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with confidence and must have excellent customer service skills.
Essential Duties:
-Provides immediate attention to all guests.
-Answers questions regarding any menu items.
-Delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
-Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction.
-Replenishes items as needed.
-Follows established standards for greeting, beverage service, food delivery and general service techniques per the banquet event order.
-Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
-Regular and reliable attendance.
-Performs other duties as required.
Certificates/Licenses:
Sanitation or Food Safety Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.
Physical Demand:
Must be able to consistently lift and carry up to 25lbs.
May be asked to carry up to 50lbs as job responsibilities require.
Experience/Qualification:
-Must have previous experience as a banquet server.
-At least two years is required.
-Must have superior customer service and communication skills.
-Applicants must be available to work different shifts, including weekdays, week nights as well as weekends.
-Flexible availability is a must and Saturday PM shifts are required.
