General Summary: This position will coordinate and oversee the BNY Mellon Early College high school program with Allegheny County school districts to recruit students and facilitate seamlessness of student support services and increase access to resources that maximize student success.

Requirements: Master's degree in student personnel services, higher education administration, counseling or related field and a minimum of three years' experience in a deadline-oriented environment, with proven results-oriented experience managing projects from development to successful implementation. Strong sales, organization, people and communication skills. Experience with sales, marketing, admissions and recruitment. Ability to coordinate programs, activities and events. Ability to interact with faculty, staff and external constituents. Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective relationships. Supervision and leadership skills. Ability to use relevant data and produce enrollment reports. Ability to work independently and in a team setting to accomplish goals. Ability to multi-task. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to assess program outcomes. Experience with the use of online learning platforms and hybrid classes. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with budgetary oversight. Administrative student services experience in a high school setting. Ability to organize transportation for groups of students. Experience with Microsoft Office, relational databases and web content development.


• Serves as the front-line professional responsible for forging connections between CCAC, participating high schools, students, and other partners for the Early College Program.

• Actively engages program participants to ensure and sustain desired behavioral and performance outcomes.

• Develops and implements a strategic admissions management program encompassing traditional students within Allegheny County.

• Develops and maintains relationships with personnel representing high schools, and external constituencies.

• Confers with prospective students and parents/family members regarding admissions, dual enrollment, academic programs, and support services through information sessions.

• Supervises staff in the maintenance of the BNY Mellon early college programs.

• Collaborates with campus personnel to coordinate placement testing.

• Develops, implements, coordinates, and attend early college programs such as enrollment workshops, campus visits, open houses, etc. for new and inquiring students.

• Conducts high school recruitment visits and participates in college fairs targeted at high school students.

• Records recruiting activity outcomes, maintains contact lists and databases and analyzes enrollment data.

• Interfaces or networks with appropriate internal and external parties to develop or enhance recruitment opportunities and activities.

• Represents CCAC by conducting presentations to high school student and parent groups.

• Develops and maintains relationships with personnel representing high schools, social agencies and organizations, the business community and external constituencies.

• Maintains contact with the academic departments, placement, continuing education and college centers to remain current about new programs, program changes and other information critical to the successful recruitment of new students.

• Coordinates semesterly orientation and milestone events and arranges for transportation to and from the CCAC campuses for participating high school students, designed to engage them in the goals of the program and inspire them to think about the possible careers offered.

• Develops and coordinates a Summer Bridge Program at CCAC aimed at improving participants' participation which may include but will not be limited to SEM104 and SEM105.

• Arranges transportation for students to and from CCAC to participate in the Summer Bridge Program and/or attend enrolled classes or events.

• Collaborates with CCAC's Center for Teaching and Learning to provide BNY Mellon Early College instructors with annual professional development training during summer months which may include self-guided online learning modules, through CCAC.

Clearances: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
