Centura Health's network of Emergency and Urgent Care (EUC) centers provide emergency medical care to areas of Colorado that lack a hospital-based emergency department. The EUC system works to fulfill the Centura Health vision of providing care to every community, every neighborhood, and every life; providing tiered charges based on patient acuity and choice. Specializing in the treatment of ambulatory patients with an Emergency Severity Index (ESI) Level of 2-5, the EUC centers are staffed by:

  • Board Certified Emergency Physicians
  • Experienced Emergency Nurses
  • CT Technologists with specialized emergency care and laboratory training
  • Emergency Medical Technicians
  • Patient Access Representatives

EUC centers are located in the communities of Arvada, Frederick/Dacono, Golden, Lakewood, Meridian (NW Parker), Southmoor (SE Denver), and multiple sites in Summit County.

Pay Range

$14.77 - $19.96/hr

This position performs direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with RN or Physician. Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating and collaborating with the team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. Orders, receives and stocks supplies for the department/unit. Assists support staff with filing, medical records and daily tasks as assigned.

*Qualified individuals will receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus to be paid in installments. Individuals must at least one year of direct experience to be eligible for the sign-on bonus. This sign-on bonus does not apply to internal transfers.*

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • One year healthcare experience (pre-hospital, ED and/or patient care) preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current Colorado Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or A-EMT or EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic license required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for HealthCare Providers certification required from American Heart Association required
  • IV certification required upon hire
  • 1a - 1p

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
